shenzhen, china, march 14, 2016 − gigalight has announces the launch of mass production of 40g qsfp sr4 gen2 optical transceiver. the main difference of the gen2 in the market lies in the multichannel real-time ddm function, which is easy to realize for transceivers with data rate lower than 10gbps, but very complicated for those with data rate more than 10gbps, as the latter is mostly based on cob not on packaging technique.
